This Blog Post Is A Consequence Of My Procrastination And Poor Attention Span

I messed up. I didn't prepare a blog post for this month.

This is the best image I could come up with on short notice that also illustrates my point.

I messed up.

I didn't prepare a blog post for this month.

When I started this blog over 2 years ago, I decided that I would add one blog post every month... So far I've done so successfully, and this month will be no exception, but I have no thought-out post planned and ready to go... so instead, I'm posting this.

I'm writing this at ~22:00 on February 28th, 2021 (local time, Poznań, Poland), because I literally realized only a few minutes ago that tomorrow is March 1st (by complete chance too, when my girlfriend was like "isn't it funny that tomorrow is March?" — lucky me! If it wasn't for her, I would not be writing this right now and I'd lose my 2-year+, monthly post streak.)

I'm a big-time procrastinator. Not always, and not with everything... but in general I am. I'm easily distracted, I have lots of ideas and projects I'm executing at any given time... so often times some things (like this blog in this case) get left behind.

It's something I definitely want to improve on. I think I will be much more productive if I focus my energy on less things...

But my "procrastinatory" and "low-attention span" nature also doesn't bother me very much. I love lots of things, and I enjoy jumping from one to another. It keeps everything interesting.

Also, some of my best work comes out when I have a fresh mind and/or severe time constraints — I'm pretty good under pressure (if I do say so myself). I don't let anything stress me out. When the going gets tough for whatever reason... I just logically work out the best solution given what I have at the time.

In the case of my blog post this month... it was just being up-front, honest, and brief.

Thank you so much for being here and reading this. I wish you lots of love and I hope you have an amazing day (whenever you may be reading this)! 🥰😀 Virtual high five!! ✋
